Maadhukari: Once I got the chance to speak to Karunia, the finalist of Indian Idol. He said that he had to slog. He could sleep for four to five hours in a day. Didn't you face such sort of stress situation?

Aneek: The stress was a great factor. If you can't sleep your voice, mindset, mood will be affected. Lots of things matter. Under the situation the rest and sleep becomes secondary. In fact priority differs. Within you the desire to perform excellently becomes utmost important. And, I always wanted this.

Maadhukari: How was it possible to carry on without any rest?

Aneek: It would not. But you had to carry on. I took this as a responsibility. Just I was determined that I was in, I must win. But I always tried to perform well. I readied myself to give my best without the concern for the result. I think everybody possess this kind of fighting spirit. In case you go to perform this determination will be there. Without this nobody can achieve. You must have the spirit to fight.

Maadhukari: You had spent time with the famous musicians like Himeshji, Ismailji, Bishsal-Sekhar and Bappi Lahiri and sang songs composed by them. Did you learn anything which wiil be helpful to you in future?

Aneek: Where else could I learn? Himeshji, Ismailji, Vsishal-Sekhar, Bappida all are great figures in the industry. If they wish you with a few words, you can learn something from that.

 Maadhukari: What's about the technicality?

Aneek: I got many tips from them. Vishalji told me "you will be the number one singer in the industry. The Industry wants technical singer like you. You perform like Sonu. On the stage You are exuberant like Sonu. You are the one who sings a tune properly." Bappida told me " You are Bengali, I am proud of it." Ismailji uttered "Pray God you may be the winner". About Himeshji, I must say he is father-like. Their love had taught me many things which I can't express in words. I hope you will understand that I have learnt a few things when my album will be released.

Maadhukari: Before the final you told that musically Aamanat should win, but Raja may win with the people's vote. But you did not predict anything about yourself. why? wern't you confident.?

Aneek: Yes I had confidence in myself. But I can't predict about myself. In fact, I do not believe in prediction or assumption. Rather I can't depend upon those. I always believe where there is a will there is a way. God blessed me to be among the top three challengers. It indicated there was something in my destiny, in my fate. I always loved my fellows. I have respect for others, Heaven knows what I shall get. But always I try to love others. My father always advises me to learn to love others. Aamanat, Raja both are stars. They are big in a sense. I would respect all. Whatever I feel I express.

Maadhukari: Aaamanat frustratingly said only ten percent of the population in Pakistan accessed the Net. So, he could not get the on-line votes. Once he mentioned that almost all his votes came through SMS. What do you think about it?

Aneek: We didn't have clear idea about the system of the vote. The singer's job ended with his last song with an appeal to the people to vote for him. We could not know how the system functioned. Still I feel Zee is a giant network and I hope they do their best in recording the genuine votes. I think it is better to be sure before a comment like this. For, Zee is a huge network. I have no more idea and no more to say. No idea, please.

Maadhukari: Are you doing play-back? Are you singing in the Bengali film?

Aneek: I had sung in Bengali film as well as in Hindi.

Maadhukari: What're the names of the films?

Aneek: I don't know the names of the films. Because I got the call from the music directors. In Bengal I got the call from Mr. Ashok Bhadra. I met him and a sang a song for his film. I got a call from Mr. Narayan Roy and I sang two songs for him. I recorded both the songs in a single day. Mr. Nawabarzu of Bombay called me and told me "My son, come here". I sang for him too. I sang one song for Bappida. But I don't know the names of the films.

Maadhukari: Actually the names of the films are decided later on.

Aneek : Yes, you are right. They decide afterwards.

Maadhukari: Heard that you sang in "dot com".

Aneek: No, I did not sing with Sumedha. I sang with Juned to the tune of Bappida.

Maadhukari: Once more it is relating to Aamanat. He is a lead singer of a band named " Mikalhassan". Do you have any plan to create a band of your own?

Aneek: Really I don't cherish the idea. But Aaamanat is a very good singer. He may be in the band, but I don't have the intention. I shall try to establish myself as a solo singer.
